For us the 964 RS, the 993 RS and the RS 4.0 are as good as it gets in a true analog driver’s car with unmatched appreciation potential. Picking one of these cars is difficult but for pure value and performance for dollars spent, the 964 RS is the winner. We see very few really good examples of these cars as many have been tracked and had full roll cages in them so are unfortunately a little worn. This particular car is the opposite of that description showing no signs of any track wear, boasting 95% original paint and no evidence of any roll bar ever being in the car.

This car came out of Japan originally and was meticulously serviced by the first owner through 2014 when it was acquired by the new owner in the UK in 2015 through DK Engineering. DK’s service team went through the car and had some minor wear items replaced like fan belt, strut plate, bolt caps and drain plug. It was kept there for two years before being bought and shipped over the US by the third owner in 2017 and registered with a clean US title. From there it had two more owners in the US before being returned to us by the current owner in trade for a RUF car. The car is an all matching numbers with supporting documentation on the COA and letter from Porsche.

From a condition standpoint, the car is exceptional both on the exterior and interior. It has full PPF film over the entire car and is all stock except for the Porsche Classic radio and charging outlets. There are no signs of any accidents or abuse whatsoever with the car and everything works exactly as it should. Along with extensive service documentation, the car has all the manuals, keys, COA and clean title. It is among the rarest of these 964 RS’s when one talks about a complete car in the areas of service, originality and condition. For someone looking for a collectible car that you can still drive, this car easily fits the description.
