Vehicle Integrity Specialist
Ray Gilcher was born in Ohio and moved to Atlanta in 1992, where he began building what would become a decades-long career in the automotive space. After earning his automotive degree from Gwinnett Technical College, Ray started his career with Nissan from 1993–1995 before advancing to Mercedes-Benz, where he achieved Master Technician status and spent over a decade honing his expertise from 1995–2006.
From there, Ray continued specializing in more prestigious marques, serving as an Aston Martin and Maserati Master Technician from 2006–2008 before becoming a Ferrari Master Technician from 2008–2025. Today, Ray serves as Merit Partners’ in-house inventory technical specialist, where he helps oversee inventory management while coordinating vehicle preparation and quality control efforts with our trusted vendors and local dealer partners. His decades of factory-trained experience and meticulous attention to detail help ensure every vehicle Merit Partners represents meets the standards our clients expect.
Over the course of his career, Ray has developed a reputation for precision, professionalism and a deep passion for the world’s greatest driver cars.
Outside of work, Ray is a devoted husband and proud father of two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his daughters’ softball teams, and fishing whenever he has the opportunity. His favorite cars include the iconic 1976 Pontiac Trans Am and the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, two vehicles that perfectly reflect his appreciation for both classic muscle and precision Italian performance.
