Merit Partners is pleased to present this brand new Clubsport in Competition trim. At Merit, we have talked extensively about our fondness for the Clubsport and the Competition trim represents the pinnacle for us when considering all the trim levels: SRO, Competition and Track day. This model is the only trim level that features the KW 3 way adjustable dampers and has most all the features of the top level trim SRO car excluding the carbon trim, which we prefer not to have because of the cost of replacement. The Competition features a 115L fuel tank and front suspension straight from the GT3 Cup car. As an example of what you get when moving from the street car to the track car, this Clubsport has 50mm bigger front brakes and weighs 45kg less than the comparable street car. How does this 19 Clubsport compare with the outgoing 16 Clubsport? Lap times around Road Atlanta with the same professional Porsche factory driver are 3.5-4 seconds quicker in this Competition trim over a 2016 Clubsport, so significant performance gains. We have driven both the Competition and 2016 Clubsport and the differences are substantial. The cost between the two is not insignificant but if you want the best possible overall track car available when considering cost, performance, reliability, serviceability and resell in the secondary market, there is no better car than this one. This particular car is delivered with the spares package featuring another set of wheels and spare set of rotors/pads. It also has had PPF film installed on the front half of the car and extended quarters. Car has never touched a track and is represented as brand new.
